Refugees & Asylum Seekers: Support for OT
OT's have the potential to play a vital role in facilitating occupational engagement for individuals, such as refugees and asylum seekers, who are experiencing occupational deprivation, occupational imbalance, loss of identity, difficulties with occupational adaptation, and mental health challenges as a result of displacement (Huot et al., 2016; Trimboli & Taylor, 2016).
